How cute is this little family? I could have stayed there all day. The weather was amazing. In February. And the location was just perfect. Click below to take a look… Continue Reading →
Jamaica. If you haven’t been… it’s pretty much how you imagine. This wedding offered all of what we love about destination weddings. Obviously the location is beautiful, but to be there with such a great group of people really makes it special. We got to spend three days with the whole bridal party, living it up in paradise. Everyone really made us feel like part of the family, and as for the photos…

Here we are!
We are very proud of our new home on the web. It is the final step in the transition from Jaclyn Photography to H & Company, that has happened over the last six months. Thank you to all of our clients for their kind words, support, and help in preparing new content for our very expanded site. We are honored to have been able to work with the very talented Patrick Brumfield from Normalcy on the design. We look forward to updating the content often and posting regularly, so please keep coming back… and tell all the cool kids.
Ashley & Will’s wedding day was spent in the foothills of Loomis, CA. They got ready surrounded by loving, happy, relaxed people. We got to meet our new friend Moses, the horse. The ceremony and reception at High Hand Nursery was perfect. There was an abundance of relaxed, natural beauty… in the people and the gardens. Ashley’s touch was in so many of the handmade details.

I love the motion picture. Watching a story come to life is truly magical. For the past 10 years, I have developed a passion for photography and film that has ultimately led to my involvement with H & Co.
I am married to my beautiful, loving and intelligent wife, Allie. We have a son, Ethan Matthew, who is truly one of the greatest joys of our lives.
As a film maker for H & Co. my mission is to capture your day or event as it happens. We will be in the right place, at the right time, ready for the next move. As we assemble the footage, we utilize our relationship and understanding of you and seek to be true to that. It is so exciting to see the day come to life. Working with Alistair and Jackie is a complete joy. Our relationship has always been friends first, which has created a solid foundation for us to build a professional working relationship and ultimately a cohesive approach to film and photography.
I consider it a blessing to be a part of your event and look forward to it with great anticipation and preparation.
I shoot people. And I love it. My journey began many years ago in a small, dark, musty lab at Sac State. Photo 101. Beginning Black & White Film. I fell in LOVE. I consider myself one of the lucky people who get to make a career out of a passion. There is nothing I love more than taking photos (well, except maybe my husband, maybe).
Seriously though, I could not ask for a more talented, hard working, friendly team. I think they’re amazing and I think you will too!
I hope you’ve had a chance to watch our interview. What I think sums it up, is that this is so much fun. I really do love getting to know our clients. I enjoy the challenge of discovering what’s unique about each event and the people involved, and studying and strategizing how to capture the story. Since we get to travel so much, I get to find the magic in new locations but also engineer solutions to the not-so-magical parts. As much as I love our actual art form, there is more joy for me in being the producer and working with a team that is much more talented than myself.
Full disclosure: as amazing as I’m sure your event will be… my favorite part will always be getting to go to work with my rockstar wife. And Matt.
